It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Well, the shopping is done, the presents are wrapped (well some of them), the boxes have been removed from the loungeroom, the Christmas cards have been hung up, and the annoying singing santa is doing his thing on the coffee table! It looks like Christmas is nearly here!
We will be celebrating HERE at our place this year. My sister Judy is on her way to Adelaide with her three boys as I type. We are expecting a few friendly faces here on Christmas morning - my Mum and Dad, of course, my brother Steve, his girlfriend, Katie, and her baby Emma, my sister Judy, and my nephews Owen, Brett and Corey. My Aunty Marg and Uncle Ian might pop in too, and I haven't given up hope of seeing my Aunty Dragon and Uncle Rod....although a little birdie told me that they might not make it.
It's hot as hell outside again today - was 31 at 8am! But the cool change (along with a LOT of rain) is supposed to come through this arvo. I am a rather big fan of air conditioning however, as inside it's quite dreading my electricity bill, but I refuse to boil in my own blood!
I need to go and get some groceries for Christmas....but I am procrastinating. You see Woolies is at the end of my street in easy walking distance...but it's really HOT out there, and I need to get quite a few things...but then it seems silly driving the car to the end of the street. BUt if I wait until it's cooler, then it will be wetter too.....see my dilemna????? LOL it's a hard life, really.....
Oooh I think I hear THUNDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i LOVE RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keep smiling,
